Use our curriculum calendars, which have been created to fit both block and daily bell schedules, to keep your class and/or drone club on track throughout the Asteria Drones unit!
Drone club calendar
We’ve designed this calendar for drone clubs that meet approximately every other week for 30-45 minutes at every meeting, for a total of 15 meetings throughout the school year. Your club will cover the basics of Computer-Aided Design, learn about drone parts and fly your own Asteria Drone!
2 Week Calendar - Daily
This calendar is meant for teachers who want a two week long drone unit. We’ve designed it for approximately 45 min daily classes, for a total of 10 classes over two school weeks. Your class will cover introductions to drone parts, principles of flight and will build its own Asteria Drone!
2 Week Calendar - Block
Much like its counterpart above, this calendar is meant for teachers looking to spend about two weeks on their drone unit. It’s desgined for a “block“ schedule, with ~85 minute classes every other day over two school weeks. This schedule will also cover drone parts, principles of flight and will allow students to build their own drones!
3 Week Calendar - Daily
This calendar is meant for teachers who want a three week long drone unit. It is meant for approximately 45 min daily classes, for a total of 15 classes over two school weeks. This calendar teaches students fundamentals of CAD, drone parts and principles of flight while they build thier own drone.
3 Week Calendar - Block
This calendar is designed to cover the same material as the daily 3 week calendar, but is meant for a “block“ schedule, with ~85 minute classes every other day over three school weeks. This schedule will cover fundamentals of CAD, drone parts and principles of flight and will allow students to build their own drones!
